Create CDS entity from Excel table - one of the column is links to images on onedrive

Hi,

I try to create CDS entity from a excel table and one of the columns is links to image on onedrive.

The problem is when I create an powerapp with gallery the image is not showing.

I have try to create powerapp directly from excel table and its work but in this case I want first to create an entity in CDS.

Any suggestions to solve this? Entity Pic.PNG

Hi @Macki ,

Regarding the issue that you mentioned, I think you have some misunderstanding with the Image type column in Excel table. Based on your scenario, the Image column in your Excel table would store the Relative URL Path of the file hosted in your OneDrive folder.

If you import your Excel table records back to your CDS Entity, the Relative URL Path of the file would be invalid. The canvas app could not find the specific file in your OneDrive folder through the Relative URL Path value stored in your CDS Entity.

If you want to access the image file hosted in your OneDrive folder based on the Relative URL Path value stored in your CDS Entity, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Power Apps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in Power Apps, please submit an idea to Power Apps Ideas Forum:
