Hi PowerApps Community,
I'm attempting to create a data integration project using a few different sources just as a POC, but one at a time. I've tried with an OData source, I've tried with an Azure SQL Database source, and I've even tried the EXACT steps from this article (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/common-data-service/data-platform-cds-newentity-pq)... However, when I get to the 'Refresh settings' page, and attempt to click 'Save', I get an 'Unexpected Error' with the mashup query displayed with no additional information. Is something currently broken in the service? Am I missing something obvious?
I just want to check our error is the same and track it by posting on here. Please see attached snip when trying to import simple test spreadsheet into CDS
We are based in the UK does MS have any update on the outage and is this affecting us?
@NGTS-AL, wanted to keep you an update that the fix is currently being deployed and should be available by the end of the week.
@baseline9, unfortunately the UK outage is still ongoing and is currently being investigated. Having said that, your error looks unrelated to the outage. Would you mind starting a new thread so we can take a look at it?
Hi @dazhang, do you know what specifically the UK outage is affecting? Does the outage basically remove the ability to import data of any kind to CDS, by any means? Or might there be a workaround?
And - 64 million dollar question - have you any idea when the outage might be resolved?
@Interlock, unfortunately that is the case. There is an outage in the UK region for the component that handles loading data into CDS. I don't have an ETA, but it is being actively worked on. I will let you know as soon as I have an update.
@drold, it looks like your error is because a connection set was not found. Did you delete any connection sets from the PowerApps Admin Portal by any chance?
sorry made a new thread for this issue not realizing this was here. i am getting the same issue, but am based in the US so UK outage should not be impacting. screenshot attached
to summarize, can't get any data integrations to work. and they were working previously.
I have been receiving "unknown error" for all imports (Excel, OData, SharePoint) for 2 days now.
I am based out of Canada.
I have even tried the simplest of spreadsheets with 2 columns and no dice.
Opening in the Excel Add in doesn't even work (Gets stuck on Loading Metadata and never finishes)
This issue is severely hampering my progress on an important project...any update from MS on what's going on?
