Hi lovely community,
currently I'm wondering how to copy about 55K Records incl. 120 columns (about 20 lookup columns) from one table 1:1 to another table? This is just one time per year to have kind of "Snpashot".
Just archiving or exporting records to file is not an option. We need it as the same table.
I already have cloned the table via XRMTool. Have set up Power Automate (connected with Power Apps) to trigger copying of one year.
Unfortunately there's the following limit (aready have splitted requests in 12 months):
Do you know a faster and more stable way to copy records from one table to another table in dataverse?
Unfortunately I can't use Dataflows cause there are some lookup columns and their tables behind without data integration key (and it wouldn't make sense here to create one).
BR,
Sven
Hello @P3Sven
Please try creating Dataflow to sync between Environments.
Steps to Follow:
1. Navigate to https://make.powerapps.com
2. Open DESTINATION ENVIRONMENT and Click Dataflow --> Click New Dataflow
3. Search for Dataverse
4. Enter the Source URL (where SOURCE data available) --> Provide Credentials
5. Select the Source Table
6. Click Transform Data/Next --> Select the DESTINATION TABLE/ CREATE NEW TABLE and Click Next and Select the Frequency of Sync
7. Click OK/ PUBLISH.
That's it 🙂

Hi @rampprakash ,
thanks for your reply, but like I've mentioned, with dataflows I can't create lookups without data integration keys of related table (unfortunately I've some).
If Dataflow would allow me to create lookup connection via dataverse unique id, it would work, but its just working via integration key to create lookups..

Sven
