I'm looking to clear down tables in the Dataverse and currently use bulk delete to carry this out. What i have noticed, is that there is a table called: -
Looking through when looking to create a delete job, i'm unable to locate the table to clear down. In addition, we have the ASyncOperationsBase table which needs clearing down but am unable to locate this table either. Are these named as something else or is there no way to clear these tables down
are you trying to clear down BulkDeleteOperationsBase and ASyncOperationsBase ? we need to careful as these are system tables ..
but if you still want to clear certain records with in this table, you can use XrmToolbox tool like SQL4CDS
This will allow to write simple Delete statement to remove relevant records.. refer following example query for this..
Thanks for the above and correct, we do need to clear these down as between them, they take up to 16gb of the environment storage.
This can only be carried out using XRM toolbox and not the front end gui or jobs?
No, there are multiple ways to clean them including using front end..
for example if you want to clean ASyncOperationsBase table then these are stored in system jobs table and you can create your query/view in Advanced find as shown in screen below..
once you verify results, you can create bulk delete job for this view and this should clear all relevant records..
so this way from front end you can clear down these data ..
AGAIN I repeat only delete relevant workflow (or process log), this table hold lots of system jobs records as well so avoid blindly removing all records from this table..
