Environment variable not changing

I want to change the environment variable below. I set the value you see below but now I want to change it. When I enter the default value or current value is does save but when I reopen the environment variable it will still be set to the value you see below and not what I updated it to.

This is a environment variable from the CoE starter kit and is a managed solution if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

Can you open advanced find in Dynamics and look for Environment Variable Definition record. You will see subgrid where all the values are defined.

Try to update the record and see if it works.

Hi @DerekHurley ,

Yes, you cannot directly edit the components within a managed solution.

You can find the Edit button is grey out when trying to edit the environment variable in a managed solution. The right panel that you tried to edit it should be a design flaw/bug.  Snipaste_2020-09-08_17-05-43.png

Hope this helps.

Thanks @bipinshan ,

That worked. Forgot variables are saved in that entity. I still don't understand why it couldn't be changed the way I showed in the screenshot, is it just a bug?
