Import Excel to Dataverse - Mapping

Hi,

I've created a Model Driven app where regular uploads from Excel take place. In the uploads a Lookup field is present for which the standard mapping can't be used (possible duplicates in the primary name column). Therefore, an alternative ID is used but the mapping needs to be modified each time an upload takes place. Is there a way to make an Alternative Mapping as the default to prevent the mapping to be changed each time?

I don't think you can make a 'default' one, but you can stop users from creating new or editing existing ones (but may find they can still do a new map but not save it)  via the Data Map privilege in Security Role -> Core tab
