Hi,
I have created a Model Driven App. I have defined a site map to allow my app user to access to different entities. First, my app user as a system Administrator could have access to all the app entities via the left navigation. Since I assigned to him a custom security role, he lost the left navigation and could not navigate through the app entities anymore.
What did I do wrong ?
Thanks,
Arioule

Hi @Arioule,
It seems like your users to don't have the privileges on their custom security role to access the entities defined in your sitemap. The entities will automatically hide from the app if the current user does not access to it. on the custom security roles, make sure at least read (user access) to the entities of your site map are selected.
Hope this helps!

Hi @EricRegnier ,
Thanks for helping me again.
The left navigation is now visible.
But I still have a problem. In my sitemap, I added a link to the associated process entity of my custom Entity "Mandate".
So for my app user, the "Mandate Process" Entity link is now visible, he can have access to all "Mandate Process" Custom Views, records, ect. Whenever he wants to create a new record from the "new" Button on the Ribbon Menu, the new Mandate form does not pop up (it is used to work when he was using the system Administrator permission). In my custom security roles, I gave full access to my user to the Mandate Process as shown below (sorry it is in french language)
What I have done wrong ?

You also have to select the forms, views, etc that you want accessible in the app. Ensure you select the right Mandate form or pick "All" forms.
Hi @EricRegnier,
I have just checked that main forms have been selected for both 'Mandate' and 'Mandate Process' Entities and still the "New" Button does not work on the Mandate Process Entity Section of my app for my user.
Hi @Arioule, sorry for late reply. Do you still have the issue? Did you make sure you saved all and publish all customizations? Try logging out and back in again?
Hi @EricRegnier,
I needed also to grant permission for process on the customisation tab
Since then, the "New" Button works.
Thanks.

I have a similar issue, I created the Min Privilege Security role and have been adding privileges to it to find the solution to my problem but still not.. First off, the security role does have access to most of the entities. Its not the entities that are not there, but the entire left navigation pane is gone for most users. Only System Administrator seems to be able to see it. What privilege will fix that?
It would seem this is the first problem.
This is a pay-as-you-go app so license should not be a problem. If I add the user to Systeme administrator both Visible and license goes green. As a default the user has Basic user Security roll... when I get this, what privilage should I add?
It's taken hours, but this article was the solution 😕
