Minimum Security role in CDS to provide CRUD operations to business users

Hi,

Am trying to create a custom security role to provide users CRUD privileges to custom entities which I have created.

As per the microsoft documentation, I imported the minimum security role package as mentioned in the below link

Configure user security in an environment - Power Platform | Microsoft Docs

I have provided read, write, create and delete permissions at organization level to the custom entities for the custom security role.

Even then the business users receive permission error to read the data from custom entities used in canvas apps.

Hi @subinpius4u :

I've made a same test but did not encounted the problem you mentioned:

1\Import the Dataverse minimum privilege security role solution.

2\Copy the Role and assign CRUD permissions of custom entities to the custom role

1.JPG

3\Assign this security role to my test account

4\Share the designated APP to my test account(BofCostom is the only data source in this app)

2.JPG

5\Use this test account to open the app from the mobile app or the share link.

Every thing worked well on my side.If your problem can not be solved pleaset consider creating a support ticket.

Best Regards,

Bof

Hi @v-bofeng-msft
