Model Driven App Date Frequency (Maybe Calculated Field)

Hi Dataverse Experts,

I want to have a field that is frequency based, something like second of every month or second month of every year.

Right now I can see Date only field. But, I don't want to set a specific date. If that's not possible can I have one more field that says next deadline is 02/12/2019 and it should be dynamically updated to 02/01/2021 when the current day is past 02/12/2019

How can I achieve this scenario.

Eg: second of every month.

Thanks 🙂

Hi @sakula1996 ,

You could use Power Automate with a schedule trigger to run on a regular basis (daily), check the dates that have "expired" and then update them to be the "next" date.

It might also be worth looking into calculated fields and seeing if you can use the date functions to calculate your date based on a set start date.
