Need Help with Email and Password lookup and and validation

I have a CDS Entity with a Email and Password Column I have a text input EmailLogin and PasswordLogin.

I want to be able to when I hit a button have it check and if correct navigate to a page and if not correct navigate to another page

I am using this formula but nothing is happening.

If(LookUp(Contacts, Email in LoginEmail.Text).Password = LoginPassword.Text, true, false, Navigate('Edit Form 1 Screen'), Navigate('Screen2'))

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Assuming the Lookup() is correct then the rest of the formula would look like this:

If(LookUp(Contacts, Email in LoginEmail.Text).Password = LoginPassword.Text, Navigate('Edit Form 1 Screen'), Navigate('Screen2'))

*just removed the true/false from your formula

Hi @Erikjn ,

According to my test, the look up formula is right, however, there is something wrong with your If function.

The syntax is If(logical_test, true_value, [logical_test, true_value, logical_test, true_value], else_value)

So you should modify you formula to be as follows:

If(LookUp(Contacts, Email in LoginEmail.Text).Password = LoginPassword.Text, Navigate('Edit Form 1 Screen'), Navigate('Screen2'))

Best regards,

Sik

Thanks for your help again!  It works!

Thanks for helping with this I got it to work!
