New environment, has system administrator role, but can't create new dataverse table?

Hello, I'm trying to create a sample app in power apps, but I'm unable to create a new dataverse table?

I have created a new database, but the add new table button is greyed out.

Not sure if I'm missing a subscription.

I checked that my user does have System Administrator role in Power Apps Admin.

Also, my org only has 1 user (I assume that user would automatically have all the permission it needs either way)

Is there something else I should check for?

I created this org a few months back so the free trial (I was doing a sample for power apps in teams back then, but it's for actual power app this time) is used up.

Hello @swu,

Can you please try below steps,

1. Navigate to https://make.powerapps.com

2. Click Solutions.

3. Create New Solution

4. Open the Created Solution

5. Try Creating a new Table there

Hi, @rampprakash

It's still greyed out.

I'm currently on the trial plan, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I have the same issue. Both within the default environment and a new environment I have created the New table button is greyed out:

And in a solution:

The tenancy was created some time ago but only today was the first Power Apps license added so the database in the default environment, and the other environment are both new. I am System Admin role for both

I don't have this issue in other tenants I manage. I will try again tomorrow.

Hello @WillPage,

Can you please try below steps to check the security Role

1. Navigate to https://make.powerapps.om

2. Select Gear Icon at the Top --> Select Advance settings

3. Select Security --> Click Users

4. Search for the Users --> And Open the Users and Click Manage Roles to see the Security Role

@rampprakash

MS ticket requires us to pay for support, and the prompt directed me here.

And we have similar environment. On a tenant created some time ago.

Do you know what conditions are in play when in terms of the new table button?

Hi @swu @WillPage ,

There is something wrong with Dataverse, the feature of creating new tables are blocked by Microsoft. Please use existing tables or wait for the fix.

Hope this helps.
