New records not visible in CDS entity

Hi,

 

It seems that new records created via a powerapp are not always visible in the entity data tab of CDS.

Not present in following views (upper right corner): 

- all fields

- custom fields

- active

Present :

- advanced find view

- associated view

- lookup view

 

When I use the 'edit data in excel' funtionality, the records are also present.

Why are they not always present? Is there some kind of filter working behind the scenes?

That's strange! Can you please confirm if the data is not refreshed when the refresh icon on the data tab is clicked?
 
Note: The data is not automatically refreshed as this is not a real time tracking page, the user needs to manually refresh it. I have been using the CDS data tab view for a long time now but never came across any such scenario.
 
If this still exists, then maybe you can try to logout of the browser, clear the cache and re-login into the system to check if the issue is still reproducible. Sometimes, few issues occurs because of cached data.

Hi @ThomasVDS ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you mean that the new added records via PowerApps app could not be displayed within some specific views of your CDS Entity?

 

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned.

Please consider take a try to clear cache of your browser, then sign in PowerApps again, go your CDS Entity, check if the records has been displayed.

 

Also please consider take a try to click "Refresh data" option within your CDS Entity as below:6.JPG

then check if the new added records has been displayed within your CDS Entity.
