Not all fields are listed when trying to edit or add filters on a CDS/Dataverse entity/table view

I am trying to add some filters to my view, and not all the fields show up to select. The primary name field is not available to pick, and neither are several decimal fields. This is true whether I make a new row or a row inside a group. What is the criteria for whether or not a field can be used in a view filter?

That was exactly it! Thank you so much. I had no idea that Searchable property had anything to do with view filtering
