Portal App does not have permissions to view a Dataverse "choices"

Hi,

I am creating a Portal app and inside the portal app is a form. The form is connected to an "Account Request" dataverse table. Inside the "Account Request" dataverse table there is a "Company" column that is connected to a "Choices" table. 

When I go to the form in the portal app, it tells me the user does not have permissions to view the "Company" column. How do I give permissions to a Choices table? I have given permissions to the "Account Request" table but it still gives me the error.

Hello @zdieter,

As it's a Choice field there is no seperate permission needed. But give a try to this solution

Navigate to https://make.powerapps.com

Click Gear icon at the top

Click Advance Settings

Click Settings then Security

Open the Security role which is assigned to the user

Seach for Account request in Custom Entity if it's a custom table

Cross check you have provided sufficient permission to that table.

As it's not a look up we don't need Append and Append to, but give a try for that.

Hi @zdieter ,

Portals is just releasing support for "Choices" columns.  See the following:  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform-release-plan/2021wave2/power-apps-portals/portals-su... and it is in preview, not general availability so it will probably not work in your form at this time until it becomes available or if you enable in a sandbox for preview.
