Possible to list Entity Views in a dropdown using PowerApps/ CDS/ Dynamics 365?

I have successfully managed to use filtering with the new experimental functionality with Filter and Entity Views in the formula bar which is great. ( Dynamics 365 , PowerApps with CDS Connector, Canvas app ) ( attached image )

However, I would also very much like to list the views in a dropdown , and not hardcode set the filter in a gallery.

Question:

Is it possible to list the Entity views in a dropdown or  are they only available has hardcoded constants in the formula bar?

Error:

I have tried to set the 'Contacts (Views)' as a items datasource on a dropdown but I get: "This datatype is not supported for evaluation"  ( roughly translated error message from my local language )

Maybe there are some ways to convert the values to legal dropdown values?

Hi @esoPowerUser ,

Do you want to list all available Entity Views within a Dropdown box?

If you want to list all available Entity Views within a Dropdown box, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

The 'EntityName (Views)' is not supported within Dropdown box. If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please consider submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

Hi @esoPowerUser ,

I think I might have figured this out.  You can use the Choices function.  In my example below I have used Choices('Contacts (Views)') as the formula for Items for a Combo Box control.  It lists all of the Saved Views for Contacts.

Thank you so much! I have spent a day trying to figure this out - in my Gallery Items, I just had the Combobox selected value as the logic test for a filter formula, and it filtered the gallery items based on the view! Now, if only I could filter the list of views!
