Sharepoint list connector does not work

I want to start by saying that I don't know English. So any mistakes, please excuse me.

I am trying to get data for CDS from a sharepoint list. When I use the connector it doesn't show me any list. I do a test using the OData connector by adding _vti_bin / ListData.svc to the end of the link and if I can access the lists. I must note that the language of the site, tenant and environment is Spanish.

Hi @robertopolo ,

Yes, when we are using SharePoint connector to import data to CDS entities, we got some problems sometimes.

Regarding your question, I recommend to use OData connector and follow these steps:

1- Connect to OData connector

2- Insert https://yourtenant.sharepoint.com/sites/yoursitecollection/_api/Web/Lists/GetByTitle('List title')/Items  in the URL field

3- Connect with your Office 365 account

4- Next step

5- Select your list

6- Next step

7- After finish all common steps, your list has been imported! 🙂

Hi @robertopolo,

I suggest using Dataflows with SharePoint list. It's an out-of-the-box data source made specifically for this. The advantage of a Dataflows it's a no code solution, you have a replication of the list inside CDS which you can built additional functionality on top and you can schedule the sychronization.

Hope this helps!
