Who writes on the Community Blog?

  • Anyone who is a member of the Flow Community!

What should I post on the Community Blog?

  • We want to hear what's got you thinking about Microsoft Flow, from opinion pieces on the latest industry trends, to helpful tips and how-tos for your fellow Flow users, to "trip reports" from your local Microsoft event.

 What are the benefits to becoming a Community Blog author?

  • Gain new readers, reach global audiences, and be featured on the Official Flow Blog in the monthly Community Highlights post.

 How can I become a Community Blogger?

  • Message @anhthuch4ng, with a rough title for your post and a couple of sentences to describe your topic. Once permissions are granted, she will give the access to the blog staging area (only admins and bloggers can view link). You can write and edit your post in private here. When it’s ready, “publish” to staging and let her know. she will get it on the schedule and make it live! 

 Once I have blogging permissions, how do I author a blog post? 

  • Blogging Instructions can be found here in the Blog Staging Environment. Please note that only users with blog permissions can access the URL to the instructions.

What are the blog posting guidelines?

What are your cross posting guidelines? 

  • As a community blogger, you get to control when your post publishes. In the authoring instructions above, you can schedule the date/time of when you wish to publish.

Do you allow people to post articles that link back to the posts we already made?

  • We HIGHLY encourage you to link back to older posts in the Community Blog. As a best practice, please @ mention the author of the linked post your article body.

Do we schedule the posts when to go live?

  • Yes – you can schedule the publication date and time when drafting your post in the Blog Staging site.

How frequently can we publish to the Community Blog?

  • We recommend posting no more than 5 articles per month.
