Launch Outlook App on iOS from Push Notification

New to Flow....

I've setup my first flow.  It is a push notification when I receive an email from a specific person.  It works and sends the notification just fine.  The problem is, the notification link for the email sends me to Outlook on the web browser and not the installed instance of Outlook on my iOS device.  Is there a way to have it open the specified email in the app instead of the browser?

Re: Launch Outlook App on iOS from Push Notification

Hi @john4938,

To receive a email notification, you could choose the action "Notification - Send me an email notification" when creating the flow.

Please go ahead and have a try.

Yeah... I'm trying to simulate the VIP functionality that the base iOS mail app has.  Seems to work except that the link in the notification sends me to my web browser to check my mail instead of the Outlook app on the phone.

The only method I have found is to launch the app with entering in the link: ms-outlook://

Parameters do not work.

Re: Launch Outlook App on iOS from Push Notification

Are there any known commands for "ms-outlook://"? I would like to launch search with a specific keyword

I don’t think this will work at this moment. It needs Flow to speak to iOS, something I hope Microsoft are working on. This includes other features such as 3D Touch, swipe, tap to copy etc.

I know this is an old thread...I'm trying to do the same thing as some of you; replicating the VIP functionlaity in iOS with the Outlook iOS app.  Thanks for the tip on using [ms-outlook://] in the link section.  Wish i would bring me to the email that triggered the flow, but it's better than linking out to outlook web...
