Remove / hide contact preferences on PowerApps Portal Profile page

There may be a request from your customer where you need to hide contact preferences options on the PowerApps Portal Profile page. 

Where can I find this contact preferences option? 

1. Log in to your PowerApps portal 

2. Click the "Profile" menu 

Ex: 

https://ragavanrajan.powerappsportals.com/profile/ 

3. Scroll down to the bottom until you see the below option 

How to hide/remove the contact preferences? 

Step 1: Log in to Portal management 

Step 2: Under Website > Site Settings 

Step 3: Find the setting called "Profile/ShowMarketingOptionsPanel" 

Step 4: Set the value to "false"  > Save and Close 

In Portal Studio > Press the Sync configuration and Browse the website.

I followed the steps outlined. However, the form still displays. Is there a way to get rid of the fieldset entirely?
