PowerApps BuildTools: Export Solution - MFA Problem

Hey guys,

we had a security update, which forces us to us MFA on all of our accounts. Since then our build pipeline for D365 CRM Solutions isn't working anymore.

##[error]Failed to connect to instance: [...] Please verify your credentials for *** and instance url.
ERROR REQUESTING Token FROM THE Authentication context
ERROR REQUESTING Token FROM THE Authentication contextOne or more errors occurred. => AADSTS50076: Due to a configuration change made by your administrator, or because you moved to a new location, you must use multi-factor authentication to access '00000007-0000-0000-c000-000000000000'.

Any advise on how to solve this MFA Problem?

Re: PowerApps BuildTools: Export Solution - MFA Problem

If you use a personal user to authenticate, you can generate an app password and use this to authenticate.

If you use a service user, you should ask your O365 admin to enable bypass MFA for this service user.

Re: PowerApps BuildTools: Export Solution - MFA Problem

Hi @peter123 ,

Based on the error message that you mentioned, it seems to tell that your O365 Administrator has made some changes to your account or your account has been moved a different location.

I agree with @Menik1 's thought almost. Please check if you have enabled MFA Authentication option for your account, if ture, please consider disable the MFA Authentication or ask your Administrator to bypass the MFA server for your account.
