Accessing PowerApps using Dynamics as the entry point

Hello All - Have a general question regarding using Dynamics as the entry point for PowerApps.  We have been coaching our users to get to their apps through Dynamics per this doc: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/user/run-app-browser.

Recently, we have had users report the attached error using this method. In speaking with an engineer at MSFT, it was recommended that we pivot to having users access from make.powerapps.  Has anyone else experienced this?  We have had trouble finding any documentation that recommends this so I thought I'd ask here.

Any input is appreciated.  Thanks all!

Chris

Re: Accessing PowerApps using Dynamics as the entry point

Hi @chrispecos ,

Do you mean that you could not run apps in dynamics home page https://home.dynamics.com/?

Please check whether you could run the same app in this website: https://make.preview.powerapps.com

I've made a similar test but not met the same problem like your description.

My app could run both  in dynamics home page and powerapps web studio.

Please check these things:
1)account license

2)account permission

3)browser cache

4)update browser to the latest version

5)try another browser

6)network condition

Re: Accessing PowerApps using Dynamics as the entry point

Thanks Phoebe - Sort of yes.   Some users receive the 'Failed to Fetch' error message when going into Dynamics to access their apps.  Most do not, but there is a subset of users we are discovering encounter this.  They can run the app from make.powerapps.com.

In working with the Engineer at MSFT we did compare licenses between users and found that users did have the correct licensing.  A force sync was performed on the MSFT side that eventually did correct the issue but we're just looking for a way to avoid doing that every time this occurs.

I appreciate the response, thank you!

Should have included this inline, this is what users are seeing in Dynamics.
