How to change the retention period in CDS?

Hello,

As I see, that default retention period for the Audit logs is 30 days as mentioned here : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/audit-data-user-activity#startstop-auditing-an...y

It states, that to change the retention period it requires to create Web API C# project and run the Web API that changes the retention period.

Is this possible via PowerShell Command? If not, is there any reference link that suggest step by step process to update retention policy for the Audit logs in CDS - can you please help with the same?

Thanks,

Hi Dave8,

Please, check this document:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/audit-log-retention-policies?view=o365-wor...

I hope it helps you.

Hi @FCGALLEG

That's for Audit logs in Office 365, while my concern is for the CDS - any clue?

Thanks,
