Hello all,
I have read about a new capacity model for powerapps environments.
(Small screenshot out of a presentation about it)
and get prompted in the admin center that I could transition.
As I understand the second Note-box behind this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/pricing-billing-skus
we are not limited to 2 production environments per Plan 2 license anymore.
Am I right?
Microsoft support seems not to know much about this topic.
However, they were able to tell that my organisation is on the new model already and that all (!) tenants get the above banner, independent on having old or new environment model.
Does anyone here not have the banner from the screenshot?
How many production environment are you able to create?
If you are interested I can share my ticket numbers.
Kind regards
Lars

This is currently available to some in preview. No I don't think you will be limited in terms of environments anymore for the new licensing. But please note that you will now be charged $150/month for each new environment. This doesn't go GA until October 1.

Thank you for answer.
Where did you hear that about the 150$? As I understood it, in the past any environment that you extra bought as an add-on cost 150$ but with the new capacity model you just need to buy storage...
Take a look at your first graphic. $150/month/new instance. Not clear at this point whether that means environment or actual instance. At lot of this will be clearer when MS publishes details. This isn't live until October 1 and some of the details are still being worked out.
Well, left side is old model.
However, I thought it went live in April but if it comes for everyone in October, I am sure you are right and they will publish details until then.
Thank you.
Some of the capacity changes went live in April, but the licensing changes for PowerApps and Flow environments go live October 1 and haven't been official announced. They were previewed at Inspire and have been discussed, but aren't official yet.
