If a user needs to find an app that has been created for them in Power Apps, canvas apps are not searchable from the Office 365 home screen. Obviously a user can search for Power Apps and then find the app with in the Power App portal, but the individual apps (example: 'time card review', 'website database', '2022 goals and plans') cannot be found the same way that you can for the other Microsoft apps and documents that live within OneDrive and SharePoint.
The proposed request is that Canvas apps (if not all available apps) can be searched and found in the Office 365 home screen search.
Hi,
This is what I see when I search the Office 365 home page for a Power App. In this screenshot, Site Photos is a Canvas Power App. Is this what you are after? This is enabled by default. I haven't done anything special to get the Power Apps to appear.
It does not show... perhaps this means that the search needs to be enabled by one or our admins in a dashboard?
Question for the world... Is there a setting that our Office365 administrators would set to show/hide results from PowerApps?
