Support to store sensitive information in SharePoint list?

Couple of fields in a share point list is considered to be sensitive and is not supposed to be shown as a plain text as such. So is there a way to encrypt a column in share point list?

Hi @PravK ,

Do you want to encrypt a column in share point list, and do want it to show up within PowerApps app?

If you want to encrypt a column in share point list, I afraid that there is no direct way to achieve your needs in SP List. As an alternative solution, I think a JavaScript Library could achieve your needs in SP List.

Please refer to the following blog for more details:

https://blog.kenaro.com/2013/07/01/client-side-encryption-of-list-item-fields-for-sharepoint-2013-de...

In addition, if you want to encrypt the column value within PowerApps app, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currenty.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:
