It would be great if we could launch PowerApps Apps from within the Office 365 Home Screen
Just checking, have you tried to use the web link in the details screen of an app made with PowerApps to do this?
Thank you for this clarification,
While that functionality is not really provided, there is a workaround. You can add a custom tile to your app launcher and set its url to that of your powerapps app. See below: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Add-custom-tiles-to-the-app-launcher-1136115a-75af-4497-b69...You can then add that tile to the navbar:https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Pin-apps-to-the-navigation-bar-in-Office-365-d536512c-b0f7-...
It should be a simple activity:
1. Go to make.powerapps.com
2. Go to the ... menu on an App
3. Click on "Show on O365 Apps" <- this step does not exist, but should
4. Choose between: 4.a. Users without access will not see the App Launcher4.b. Users without access will see the App Launcher to request access to it
In case 4.a, Users will only see the App if it has already been shared with them.
In case 4.b, all Users will see the app, but will not be able to open it. By clicking on the app, they will instead be greeted with a message saying that they do not have permissions to run it, and a button to request access to the owner.
Great suggestion @gmonne + 1 vote from me
@Audrie-MSFT, Did you get the info needed? Based on what I am looking for I think @TiagoFreire detailed it perfectly.
