That link explains how to add comments to script. I am taking about adding a commenmt property to eacg control that would just allow the author to add comments about the control.
I actually prefer your idea to the comments that have recently been implemented. The comments are less effective when you can only read them in the tiny editor
I am wondering if the new formula commenting features are satisfying this request? Your org can determine which property to post notes on a control, and then that property could be used as an internal standard.
@Audrie-MSFT This new commenting feature is nice. My only issue with it is that the textbox to develop code in is very small and it becomes very crowded once there is a lot of code as well as comments written into it.
the new formula commenting features are not satisfying this request.
I am suggesting a comments field be added to each control. When I click on the control I would see (and be able to edit) the comments in the right panel. No need to go look at some script
Thank you for your clarifications. I will submit this feature request to the team for review.
Thank you again,
Audrie
