Attach a file to form

I'd like to be able to use a control like the Add Picture button, but for Files of any type.

The control would open up a file picker, I could select the file and then I can upload the same as content from Add Picture.

For example, my current need is to attach a document (doc, ppt, pdf, etc) to an Annotation to a Case in Dynamics 365.

Sorry, I don't have a date yet for increasing the upload size limit.  We are working on this, but the work is significant in order to maintain good app performance with large files.

For now i am happy with the 10 MB attachment .  THANK you so much Microsoft PowerApps team Smiley Very Happy

UPDATE: Support for adding attachments by selecting pictures from a gallery or taking one with a camera is expected to roll out in late June 2018.

However other attachments improvements, including increasing the maximum file size for new attachments have been delayed and are not expected to ship before September 2018.

Sorry about the inconvenience.

Is it possible to add the attachments to an Email?

Currently i get it in as an attachment like this (should be an image): appres://blobmanager/e7afafa7473542b39f249e7082/19cce919

My function:

Office365.SendEmail("test@test.com";"subject";"body";{Attachments:Table({Name:First(DataCardValue11.Attachments).Name; ContentBytes:First(DataCardValue11.Attachments).Value; '@odata.type':""; Importance:"normal"})})

Hi Audrie, can we add attachments to a collection outside of a Form yet?

Cheers

Not sure i would considere it "Completed".

1) You can upload anyfile to the app but you can't get the filename back.

2) You can save and get the filename only using the Sharepoint attachment but, you can't visualise the file.

 * You can visualise the file by having an other list on the side. But you can't have the "Attach file" without the full control, in which case, you would see the files multiple times in one screen.

3) The Attachment control would be awesome with the usual "OnSelect" and not the "You clicked on it, you  download it" action.

So close to being great.

Still need a file upload control other than the picture upload control for canvas apps, since there is no option to select all file types when using a mobile device. Attachments are great, but only for SP lists.

Also this is limited to SharePoint only. Greatly need this for Dynamics CRM.
