I'd like to be able to use a control like the Add Picture button, but for Files of any type.
The control would open up a file picker, I could select the file and then I can upload the same as content from Add Picture.
For example, my current need is to attach a document (doc, ppt, pdf, etc) to an Annotation to a Case in Dynamics 365.
Review details on this feature release in the following blogs and video tutorials:
As a point of clarity, is this uploading files To or From SharePoint Lists in February?
Clearly this is an in demand feature. Great to see it getting lots of attention.
Waiting eagerly for the release fixing the Add Attachment bug.
First we were told this would be ready by January. Then late January or "early February." Then just "February." Now it's "late" February... I have been patiently waiting a long time for this. Please wrap it up! Thank you!
Hey everyone, I understand your frustration and it is perfectly justified. Unfortuanately this is a feature that touches many different parts of the code as well as having significant impact on performance and security, so we couldn't really rush it.
We are going through our final testing and should be going throught he release cycle soon. However, the feature will start hitting most of you in early March. Appologies again for the numerous delays.
i appreciate the feedback and the due dilligence being taken on this one.
So glad this is coming soon. Just in time for my Birthday.
Is this still expected next week?
Yes, it is on schedule to be released next week.
It seems to be available since last Friday... somehow....
I created a Powerapp in Tablet format.
I was curious how my app looked on a smartphone and wow, there it is.
However, I can't see it in Powerapps Studio, not in the Web version or on my iPad.
I can pick files from iCloud and my personal OneDrive by default.
Haven't figured out where and how to add more file locations and make it visible on other devices than a smartphone.
