Bluetooth device data collection

Incorporate a feature that would allow an app to utilize connected Bluetooth devices as controllers or an asset to collect data from. For instance having an app for checking out equipment that utilizes a Bluetooth rf code reader to scan an rf chip on the Piece of equipment, the app could then log the user and the piece of equipment.

It could be used to access a Bluetooth camera, microphone, or any other bluetooth peripheral device for that matter.

I also need BLE (Bluetooth low energy) interfacing, in today's world when you have so many access control devices in the market, having these device interfaces will give a big advantage to users, for example, interface to an endpoint to take the timestamp of a worker entering/leaving work.

I hope the MS PowerApps TEAM will revisit this idea. This is going to be a very good breakthrough for PowerApps to interface with real physical objects in the field. I'm a data automation guy in a big engineering/construction company, which is a very big MS Power Platform subscriber. I have a plan of using PowerApps to replace a 3rd party app that picks up digital data from an equipment using a Bluetooth connection to the "clunky" app.

I'm building an app to aid our estimator in field measuring houses, would be really awesome if i could send them with a bluetooth measureing wheel that powerapps could collect data from
