It would be pretty cool if we could take any of the customizable component grids - like the ‘Customize Entities’ grid. - and display any row which has customizations saved but not yet published with a different background color.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost work because I have forgotten that I’ve done work on Entity X…
I’ll get a new project down from the business unit to start on – and typically what I do to make sure we don’t unintentionally push any “experimental” code through our system and into production is to export “Entity X” from production, and import it into our DEV system. This guarantees that I’m going to push identical code back out to production (except, of course, for changes I *intend* to push) .
Obviously, I can currently save a copy of the entity (from DEV) and work my “experimental” code in later. If I have a visual “cue” such as a different background color, it would just be a reminder that I might want to investigate what I’m about to overwrite….
