Connection.Metered Using OS Settings

Currently, Connection.Metered detects whether the network connection is Wi-Fi or Cellular. Most OSs have the ability to tag each network connection as metered or not-metered. It would be better to use the Android OS or Windows indicator for metered connections.

We have a scenario where there are two Wi-Fi networks, but one of them is in a truck cab connected to a cellular network. We have that network marked as metered, but the Power Apps Android App does not detect it as a metered connection. We were planning on creating a video training app we would like to make available to truck drivers, but only when they are parked in the lot with the main facility Wi-Fi connection available.

Is it really just detecting the wrong connection status or is the connection actually metered on iOS devices when it is cellular?

I just posted a question about this: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Metered-connection-with-4G/m-p/858708
