Currently, Connection.Metered detects whether the network connection is Wi-Fi or Cellular. Most OSs have the ability to tag each network connection as metered or not-metered. It would be better to use the Android OS or Windows indicator for metered connections.
We have a scenario where there are two Wi-Fi networks, but one of them is in a truck cab connected to a cellular network. We have that network marked as metered, but the Power Apps Android App does not detect it as a metered connection. We were planning on creating a video training app we would like to make available to truck drivers, but only when they are parked in the lot with the main facility Wi-Fi connection available.
