Document Sets in Power Apps custom forms on SharePoint Document Libraries

It is great that Document Libraries now support custom Power Apps forms, however When document libraries have Document Sets enabled some problems start. This idea is to increase to support of Document Sets on Document Libraries within Power Apps.

1. The Content type field currently doesn't include Document Set (All document based content types are fine)

2. New forms on Document Libraries don't seem to work (Most likely For documents a document would be created first therefore there hasn't been a need to use New Forms)

i explained it all up there. At the moment there doesn't seem to be a way to make it happen with powerapps "out of the box" so you have to do quite a bit of extra work

I use a SP document library which has document set in it. Then I have a simple PowerApps form designed for data entry (New Item / Edit item).
When you’re creating new file/document or folder the form doesn’t come to picture but while creating a new dataset the form entries become mandatory.
While filling up the form I experiencing error – "skip to main content"

It's only with new docset. When I edit an existing docset it gets changed except the title doesn't change. This should be easy to solve.
I want to make adjustments to the form, a combination of docset metadata and other metadata and that is not possible now.

This issue surfaced nearly 2 yrs ago.  It appears this is still an open issue.  Has anyone found a more recent workaround to this?

To restate the problem, when a 'Document Set' content type is added to a Document Library, the option to select the 'Document Set' content type from a customized PowerApps form is not an option.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thank you.
