We need the ability to get various metadata about the app using formula. For example it woud be great to display the version number and relelase date of the app rather than manually adding them in a text field.
Yep I need it too!!!
Good to see that this is planned
App.Version is an intuitive way to get the version number.
App.Version could default to returning the same as App.Version.Number.
The variables displayed in the Apps version screen:
https://make.powerapps.com/environments/<envid>/apps/<appid>/versions
should be available - and maybe a few others
App.Version.NumberApp.Version.CreatedApp.Version.CreatedBy
App.Version.Modified
App.Version.ModifiedBy
App.Version.PowerAppsVersion
App.Version.Published
App.Version.Comments
Come on - still waiting for this??
Kind of getting to the stage where it's embarrassing.

And still not available? That's a pitty. ☹️
They will end up saying "guys, it is too difficult, we cannot do it" 🙂
@TiagoFreire idea is good enough. Why this is not implemented yet?
