We are glad to announce that we integrated InTune MAM support for PowerApps.
Really would like this feature! Powerapps is now an integral part of business process and system admins need to control them especially for BYOD polocies.
@Microsoft do you have an update on when this will be integrated? Almost all MS apps that we use are part of inTune AppProtection polices and work really well, but the PowerApps mobile apps suffer due to the lack of AppProtection integration. We want to be able to use PowerApps more extensiviely but right not it's just not feasible due to the poor login experience. I'm sure it's not that difficult to integrate?
Is there any update on this? It it (more or less) a showstopper for developing custom powerapps.
Still waiting to see if you have an update on this?We have a service page with information for our users on each application. This is what we have fo PowerApps at the moment:
"Should I develop an app with PowerApps for use on mobile devices?
When accessing PowerApps on a mobile device, users will be prompted to complete a multi-factor authentication (MFA) each time they use the app. Most other Microsoft mobile apps use a technology called Intune App Protection which streamlines the authentication process so that users do not need to perform this step each time, however Microsoft hasn't added support for Intune App Protection for PowerApps yet. Please keep this in mind as it may impact the user experience. The MFA process can be made easier if users install and configure the Microsoft Authenticator app on their mobile device.
You can vote for the integration of Intune App Protection with Power Apps here, to help persuade Microsoft to improve the experience for mobile users.
So, should I use PowerApps?
The main purpose of PowerApps is to create mobile friendly apps, but given the limitation described above, [the IT department] doesn't recommend using PowerApps at this stage, except in specific circumstances. Talk to your IT Service Manager about your requirements and [the IT deparment] can help you to decide to best technology you use for your requirements."
I'm looking forward to actually being able to promote PowerApps rather than disappoint our users when they ask about it!
I see this announcement: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/business-applications-release-notes/october18/powerapps/powerapps-s...
Are we now going to have Intune for PowerApps?
