Did you mean:

Let us get more from the App object

I would love to be able to get the display name of the app I'm using easily by using the App.Name shorthand.

Edit:

@R3dKap had some good additions to this idea:

  • Current version number of the application
  • Design mode / Run mode

Hi @Laskewitz,

I would even suggest to change the title of your idea to something like "Let us get more from the App object" since I would also love to access the following throught the App object:

  • Current version number of the application
  • Design mode / Run mode
  • ... if anyone feels like adding more ideas in here...

What do you think ?

Another thing I would like to know:
- AppID
- Environment the app is currently running in.

I would like to bump this idea as I have also suggested this idea just now.

Access the properties/components of the App Object.

1. AppName

2. AppDescription

3. AppID

4. Version

5. Published Date
