Let use change ALL forms

Author Name: Thomas Rehm

often, a customer asks for a real-small change, but its impossible, cause a form is not configurable.
E. g.:
- We can not add some information to the close-opportunity/quote/order-activity. But it would be helpfull to see the new state of the opp/Quote/order in the record-close-activity
- we can also not change the design of the email-template form and picker. Some of our customers have around 500+ email-templates, that are used frequently. But you have no chance to categorize them, so that each template could be found quickly.

Thank you for your feedback. This is a great suggestion! We will consider this in our roadmap.

The most common one I hear (nearly every implementation) is changing "Actual Revenue" to something else on the Opportunity Close dialog box.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently this is not in our immediate roadmap, however, we are tracking it and if we indeed get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in future. Thanks Anusha Shankar

Especially customizing the "opportunity close dialog" is an requirement in every crm project were an opportunity process is used! It would help a lot, adding custom fields, changing labels for the opportunity close entity.

In our opportunity we have fields for estimated revenue first year (the default estimatedrevenue), for estimated revenue per month as our services are subscription based and one field for estimated number of years for the contract. But when we close the opportunity as won and want to enter actual revenue 1. year, per month and number of years to do reports on won contracts, guess what? We cannot change the close opportunity entity. Different businesses and different countries have different sales processes. We need to be able to customize the whole process. The close opportunity entity is an important part of this. The reason we choose M$ Dynamics CRM 5 years ago was the framework possibilities. But the lack of complete customization breaks the framework concept. Microsoft seams to think that only US customers with a spesific sales process use Dynamics CRM. Take for example the lead entity. In the default Dynamics CRM-world it is a person. In our world it is the initial cold possible customers, companies, not spesific persons.
