Make automatic formatting of formula bar contents less unfriendly

Personally, I'd like to see the automatic formatting of formula bar contents be made less (un)friendly than the current all-or-nothing approach. What I mean is that I don't need or want a new line after every comma or before every closing parenthesis, as it makes things much harder to read than necessary due to the many lines everything then takes up.

Perhaps it's possible to increase the formatting level on every click, for example going from

Switch(Something.Text, "01",Round(Value(myVariable)*Value(LookUp(colData, abc_sortvalue = "01").Amount),2),"02",Round(Value(myVariable)*Value(LookUp(colData, abc_sortvalue ="02").Amount),2))

to

Switch(

  Something.Text,

  "01",

  Round(Value(myVariable)*Value(LookUp(colData, abc_sortvalue = "01").Amount),2),

  "02",

  Round(Value(myVariable)*Value(LookUp(colData, abc_sortvalue ="02").Amount),2)

)

to

Switch(

  Something.Text,

  "01",

  Round(

    Value(myVariable)*Value(LookUp(colData, abc_sortvalue = "01").Amount),

    2),

  "02",

  Round(

    Value(myVariable)*Value(LookUp(colData, abc_sortvalue ="02").Amount),

    2)

)

Etcetera.

Also removing the formating incrementally (the reverse of formatting) instead of 'minifying' instantly would then be nice as well.
