Could we pls have a feature on PowerApps where users can mention someone with "@" in a textbox(besides other text in the textbox) and the mentioned person can get notified?
Hi s3r3n3, it is possible to send a notification to a user by creating a flow. The flow could be triggered by some behavior, and send a message, email, or notification to the desired user by using the appropriate connector. Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but it is possible to notify a specific user through PowerApps by setting up a flow.
Thanks for your comment. My main idea is to have the ability to mention someone with "@" in a textbox on PowerApps. And of course, it would be nice to have the feature of notifying the mentioned person (as a built-in feature on PowerApps).
Had the same idea and found this thread already out there.
It's possible to create an @-mention yourself using some behavioral stuff, but it'd be a lot easier not to have to go through that hassle. It takes even more effort to recreate the @ mentioning experience that users are used to in other Office apps. For the sake of creating a consistent user experience throughout the various Office apps, this would be a great feature.
Do you know how when Ms support this scenario ?
