Move or Copy a SharePoint list PowerApps Custom Form

It would be nice to be able to create a SharePoint list PowerApps Custom Form in one site or list (e.g. development) and then be able to move it to another site or list (e,g, production). This would help with development and teting of new and updated forms before they are released to the production. This could also help with the reuse of form designs, so a person isn't always recreating the wheel.

Are there any updates on this - seems fundamental

Alaug, this is great news. What is the approximate timescale are we looking at as we are planning (banking) our architecture on this functionality?

Best regards,

@jsw1976 - Please stay tuned to announcements shared at Microsoft Ignite for information on when this is expected to light up.

We have solved this problem

We have a nice tool to copy embedded PowerApps in Lists between SharePoint Sites.  You can also migrate Flows that use SharePoint between Sites.  Our tool, P2P Express, will let you set up dev, test, and production so you dont have to change code in a production environment!  You can also re-use embedded SharePoint PowerApps across your organization.

You can see videos and learn more here

P2P Express

@alaugMSFT
Since Ignite is in full swing you wouldn't happen to have a link to the specific announcement related to this functionality?

Second this....

Level: Power Up

SPRohit, While importing i am able to select Create New option and i can proceed and i am able to work on form in different site. but now i did some changes in Dev and again i want deploy it so for that we have update existing app option while importing (whether the app should be imported as a new one, or to update existing one.).
On selecting update option, i am not able to see any existing app in the environment which will be updated and this package is imported but import button remains disable.

Is there any more setting/change i have to make for update purpose??

Hi @puneetpoojari,

As I mentionned it in my post where I describe the procedure to export/import a SharePoint form customized with Power Apps:

(the Update operation is not yet suported when importing SharePoint customized forms; it is only supported for Canvas or model-driven PowerApps apps)

That is why you will have to remove your existing form before importing its new version.

Hope this helped...
