It would be nice to be able to open PowerApps forms attachments directly in browser.
For exemple today, when we want to edit an excel file that is attached in a PowerApps form, we have to download it, then edit it and attach it again in the PowerApps form.
Thank you in adavnce for taking this ideo into consideration.
I very much agree. This is a pain for users who just want to take a quick look at an attached Word file, etc. The file should open it in Word online! (or at least have that option).
i agree too 🙂 when you open a attachment for example a .pptx it open in the default form in browser and you can directly edit it.
But instant when you customize the form a bit with powerapps i didn't work longer 😞 so sad!
It does not help with keeping data secure when copies could be being downloaded on lots of machines. Please fix this as soon as possible. @MarcAndre is correct that this works when you use the default form in SharePoint but when you customise the form this functionality is lost. To be able to view in the browser would be better for everyone.
Living in hope. 😉
Yes please enable this feature. Do we know how soon this can be implemented?
1 year on and still living in hope. Downloading files is baaaaaaaaaaaad. Attachments in the browser gooooooooood.
