Power App DOESN'T support Repeating Section

We have developped a power app to manage "Travel Requests".

We wanted to add itineraries (flight, Train,  Bus, Hotel) to travel request which is repeating in nature.

However Power App doesn't support Repeating Sections. Is Microsoft planning to include this in Power Apps ?

If YES, tentatively by when will it be available for developers.

I think, this is MUST & critically needed to address most of the business needs in day today life.

Will appreciate your early response on this !

For those who lack repeating rows in PowerApps or who consider it not really straightforward in configuring, I can recommend to take a look at Plumsail Forms - it allows you to create fully responsive public forms with data tables. Read the article describing how to create a form with repeating rows and convert it into PDF document in MS Flow: https://plumsail.com/docs/forms/how-to/data-table-flow.html

For sure, functionality of Forms is not limited to converting into PDF. You can save forms in SharePoint lists, send them by e-mail, create records in external systems like CRMs, help desks etc.

To be more clear, it sounds like shrinivasJ is looking for something that is similar to an InfoPath repreating table/section control. Where the user can fill in fields in a row, and select and insert button to fill in the same fields in a new row and do this multiple times. itemizedrepeatingtable.gif

This is definatly something that Power Apps should include.

Power Apps should include as many InfoPath features and functions as possible.

Hi @labrady  It is already possible to reproduce that functionality in PowerApps via a gallery with text input controls.

Happy to giude anyone on how to do this.

Frankly, it seems that the more higher-level functionality is added to PowerApps (like rules) the more buggy and unresponsive it becomes.  My personal preference would be to have good basic functionality (i.e. single controls) and leave the user to create the forms as neeed.

Thank you Meneghino, do you have any instructions or guides you can share on how to set up repeating sections in PowerApps?

Will try to do a post at some point in the future, but happy to guide you or anyone via Skype.  Just get in touch at baizini or send me a private message.

@Audrie-MSFT , we do not want to maintain repeating section data in different list.
