Thank you for your feedback. Is this something that can be achieved through a custom API or swagger file? Could you provide an example of what you mean? (FYI: @carlosag)
Thank you for your continued feedback and cooperation,
few examples -
In most of the case, we prompt user with messages for successfull saving the items or to display error messages.
For displaying a loading message when we perform query's against databases or some other systems.
I would add: have a possibility to navigate away from the PowerApp or custome PowerApp form for SharePoint to a whole new URL.
Allowing JS or updating Power Apps to include an out-of-box way to redirect users immediately to another web page -- without opening a new browser tab -- upon form / app submission would be very helpful. A few scenarios:
1. Users have the Power App downloaded, and use the app to submit / send data to x data location. Upon submission, the user is directed to a website outside of the power app to view follow-up information or next steps. THis requiers power app to close and its place launch the default web browser.
2. Users who are provided a link to a SharePoint [Online] item (customized w/a Power Apps form), complete and submit the form to the SharePoint location via web browser. Upon form submission, the user is directed to a SharePoint web page -- not the SharePoint list view -- to track the form submission status and view next steps.
These are common scenarios in which if we had this option in Power Apps would most definitely help to enhance the users experience. Especially our SharePoint users, who aren't familar with working with SharePoint list views, it would be great to direct users to an alternative [SharePoint] page rather than showing the raw SharePoint list view.
Thank you, appreciate the Power Apps team.
