Currently there is a limitation of uploading a file attachment size to max of 10 MB. SInce SPO can accept upto 250 MB per file in a list item, it makes sense to increase the attachment size in PowerApps to 250MB.
We are increasing the upload limit to 100MB but the planned October release date is in jeopardy. Still aiming for this year, I will update the thread.
@kollikr can you advise if this has been implemented, or when it will be and what the current and new limits will be?
Last update was two years ago...
This is now configurable on the Power Apps control up to 50MB. It still defaults to 10MB, but you can click on the Attachments box on the control and the maximum number of attachments and maximum size are two options you can set.
@basneary Hi, thanks for replying. 50Mb really isn't enough when I can directly upload much larger files from my desktop to SharePoint Online. Surely the PowerApps upload limit should be the same as I can do via the UI to my Tenant?
nevermind it worked
@FilipK Any updates on increasing the upload size to 100 mb (or preferably 250 mb). Unfortunately the limited upload capacity is a show stopper for using this wide spread in the business.
Is there any update on this? 10MB through Power Apps when the max upload on SPO is 250MB for a list item is quite absurd.
While it isn't 250, it is super easy to up the limit to at least 50MB. This has been there for months. Just change the MaxAttachmentSize property of your attachment field to anything between 1 and 50 and that's your new limit. If on a form (the most common use case), this will be a property of your DataCardValue attribute of your DataCard for attachments.
