Currently there is a limitation of uploading a file attachment size to max of 10 MB. SInce SPO can accept upto 250 MB per file in a list item, it makes sense to increase the attachment size in PowerApps to 250MB.
We are increasing the upload limit to 100MB but the planned October release date is in jeopardy. Still aiming for this year, I will update the thread.
Yes, makes a LOT of sense to increase the limit to 250MB.
@FilipK I am working on a large migration project at large fortune 500 client and all data with attachments is coming over great. I am using PowerApps to create a nice custom forms in my list and utilizing Attachment Control that is now a huge issue.
These two issues are creating huge problems for our project. The company decided to decrement and restrict SharePoint designer because of PowerApps was going to be used instead. Now PowerApps is here and the attachments are not functioning with the current attachment control. Attachments are the bedrock for SharePoint. I would think this would-be priority before anything else. I am left with very few options to creating a custom form. Please recommend anything possible solutions and timeframes of when the attachment control will be fixed/updated.
Thanks for your information in advanced,
Microsoft's blog post indicates an update should be coming this month (April), which is coming to a close. It would be nice to have a timeframe and what the size limitation will be increased
@FilipK Do we have any status update on the funtinoality to download attachments in IE? We still can not download attachmnts in IE. This is a majory problem. We are also looking for the status to upload attachents larger than 10 MB in the Attachment Control. Please keep us posted with any news or status.
Push 🙂 we are also interested in the currect status here
The problem is still in same status... It is a big problem!
Is there any timeline on when this will be implemented?
A firm date would be nice. This feature has been delayed at least 3 times and over 6 months ago.
