PowerApps must Read (and Read/Write) all SQL Azure database, not only the first 256 records

Apparently, PowerApps now have access only to the first 256 records of a Table. This limit should be removed.

Please review this article, as SQL does support delegation which would provide access to more than 500 records of a table.

  • yeah, 256 in a list is ok but need to be able to select which 256 (or 5000 I've read somewhere) records are returned to the app.

Delegation is now working for Filter and Sort for Azure SQL, this is a major step and resolves a lot of the limitations.

However, we still need to be able to see queries and not just tables.

You can only get 500 rows imported from Dynamics 365.  Our field agents have far more contacts than that.  The list threshold should be in the thousands or have it so you can scroll pages with a hundred or so a page.

Yes, I can bring the data I need, using filter. But when I patch it, it will only update the rows that are in the first 500 rows of the source table. Please let me know if this should not be happening because I already called suport and they confirmed this is a known limitation. It is the only limitation that is preventing me to use powerapps in most of my apps.
