Provide actual content in release notes for all releases

When looking at the platform release notes, I've yet to find a single release that actually has anything other than the part of the platform it's for, the release version number, and the date.  Every item I've clicked on on this page has zero public-facing detail.  What's the point of having linkable release notes if Microsoft doesn't actually provide any notes fo rthem?
