Please give ability to use share point folders as data storage.
One drive for business is ok, but for sharing files with others, sharepoint folders would be ace.
It would be good to have access to the metadata as well, so that the taxonomy can be used
Is this for folders inside the SharePoint Lists?
Hey, can anyone answer the question above?Does the planned feature include SharePoint library folders, SharePoint list folders, or both?
It's very important from my opinion to have SharePoint List folder implementation in PowerApps. We suspended all plans to implement PowerApps in our companies, just for this feature alone.
Without folders in lists, you can't have proper permissions management.
For example, expenses list.
Sure you can enable "Read own items" option in List settings, but using folders is much better, because sometimes expenses records could be added on behalf on someone else. For example, an assitant entering expenses records of a manager. Or even accountant enters correcting records for any employee.
Please consider supporting SharePoint List folders
I agree with @asakka, PowerApps should support folders.
For the moment, it is impossible for us to display a list that has folder.
Something like the SharePoint modern design would be nice !
Any update on being able to connect PowerApps with a Sharepoint Excel file?
Any ETA on making Sharepoint Folders a data source to enable inserting rows into Excel file stored in SharePoint Document Library.?
@Audrie-MSFTI really want to use the docments in SharePoint Docment Library as a data souce of PowerApps.Using my OD4B to save shared documents have a securiry risk so I don't want to use OD4B or any personal cloud storage.
I heard some people in Japan abandoned to use PowerApps because it cannot recognized documents in SharePoint Document Library as data souce. They hope to use SharePoint Document Library.I also eager to hope it.
So long in planning, c'mon guys!
