Sub-Grid does not display icons added to view

Author Name: Chris Harrington

If you add an icon in a view to represent a status or stage (e.g. clear for draft, blue for ready, green for final, etc.), this icon works as expected in the entity view.

If you then embed that view as a sub-grid into a parent record form, the icons do not appear.

The setup for the feature on a view is described in this blog post.

This was also originally a Microsoft support ticket 117012392919872 if additional reference information is needed.

Not having it load for subgrids was a miss...  Voting up

This is a great idea and something we are also looking for.

This is crucial for scenarios where we have to display the status of each item in the grid visually. Having it OOB with minor scripting was really helpful .

Now, we have to rely on custom grid or workarounds to achieve this.

This definitely seems like a major oversight as I would expect the view to look the same no matter what page it was viewed from.  Voting Up.
