Support native access to IOS/Android contacts (with user permission) from Canvas-based PCF

It would be highly beneficial for a canvas-based PCF controls to gain "authorized" access to mobile OS contacts (IOS/Android).  This would facilitate apps that would allow a user to quickly sync local contacts to other services.
